Brad Spears has a Bachelors degree in Music Education from NSU where he studied guitar and trombone. As a student at NSU he enrolled in many music ensembles and classes, as well as education courses and internships. Brad’s education has focused on not only learning the fundamentals of music, but also of the practical application of the information learned.
Brad has been playing guitar for the River City Players for the past twelve summers. He also performs as a guitarist in surrounding area events including Jenks HS Show Choir, Muskogee Community Band, Tahlequah HS musicals, Fort Gibson HS musical, and Muskogee HS musical.
Brad worked as a private guitar instructor at John Michael’s Music from 2006-2015, and now is the head guitar instructor at Zomac School of Music. For many years he has had opportunities to teach students of various ages and particular music interests. Brad is currently on the band staff for the Muskogee Band Program as an assistant director. He is excited to continue teaching for a second year in Muskogee and deepening his commitment to music education.
